It certainly seems true that the second born just doesn't get the attention that the firstborn does. Primarily (I think) because once another kiddo is thrown into the mix - things get hectic and good intentions fly out the window. Take for example my beautiful daughter Stella - I have been meaning to have her pictures taken professionally for ages but....she'd have a cold or we didn't have the money or we didn't have the time this week but for sure next week etc. I'm sure you get the drift. Yesterday we FINALLY did it, we got Stellas pictures taken. It took 18 months to do it, but its done. And honestly the catalyst that got my butt out the door in the first place was the fact that my darling girl had hit her noggin pretty hard yesterday and I just knew she was going to get a bruise. Then I'd have to wait till it was gone before trying for pictures again. So I slapped some ice on her head, sent Dylan off to his Nanas, dressed Stella, Ang did her hair and off we went. I must say that for such a spur of the moment decision - she certainly came out super cute. What do you think?
